The calorie intake of your diet in the Radiance app is calculated based on your anthropometric data, including height, current weight, age, physical activity level, and gender.
Caloric intake is also calculated using appropriate formulas, depending on your goal and activity level.
For weight loss, we recommend maintaining a calorie deficit of up to 500 kcal, which allows for a weight loss of approximately 0.5–1 kg per week.
In the app, your calorie needs—and therefore your diet’s calorie intake—will adjust if you modify any of the following settings:
- Age, height, weight;
- Goal: weight loss (-), weight maintenance ("0"), weight gain & muscle building (+);
- Physical activity level: sedentary (0), lightly active (+), moderately active (+), very active (+).
